Merry Christmas everyone

Well here we are again on the eve of another Christmas. We enjoy taking this opportunity to let everyone know what our family has been up to, we hope you enjoy hearing our news.

Nathan is 7 now and in 2nd grade, he is actually enjoying school this year and has a good group of friends. He has joined Scouts, which he attends with Andrew, it is a special time for them to be together. He is really looking forward to this years ski season, he did exceptionally well with lessons last year, becoming quite a fearless skier.

Sam continues to bi in remission for which we give thanks and praise God. He started morning Kindergarten in September at the same Elementary school as Nathan. He is very social little boy and has already been to numerous birthday parties and had many play dates. His next lot of tests will be in Febuary, so we ask that you continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Andrew has has a very successful year at Amazon.com, leading the launch of several websites (www.bebe.com, www.BenefitCosmetics.com, and .co.uk) this year and continues to grow his role. He has developed some good friendships here in Seattle and was even mentioned in the acknowledgement os a book published by a good friend of ours. Andrew has also found time to volunteer for school field trips, going to the pumpkin patch with Sam and the Ballet with Nathan.

Debra continues to work for the Church as the MOPPETS director, this is a growing role, expanding from 42 children last year to 66 this year with 17 staff. She also volunteers on a regular basis at the boys school and arranges schedules and events for events throughout the year. She is much to busy to contemplate going out to work even if she could.

As a family we continue to grow and learn together. We enjoyed a vacation this summer to the Olympic Peninsula. It is amazing to live in a place with so much natural beauty on our doorstep. We hiked on mountains, canoed on a lake, sat in hot springs and watched otters playing in the ocean (although not all at the same time!).

We will actually be in the UK for Christmas this year (Dec 14th to Jan 3rd), our first trip in many years and we are looking forward to spending time with our families. We hope this trip also give us an opportunity to see many of you. For those we miss
